Great Independence and National Day 2024 has been celebrated in Doarabazar Government Technical School and College with due dignity. The ceremony started with the hoisting of the national flag at sunrise in the presence of teachers and staff led by the principal of the institution. After that, all the teachers and staff along with the students laid wreaths at the Martyr's Memorial Altar temporarily installed in the institution.

Discussion sessions and cultural programs started with recitations from the Holy Quran and readings from the Holy Gita by the students. Essay and debate competitions are organized with the participation of students. Mr. Md. Rasul Amin, Instructor (Mathematics) and Mr. Kaushik Banikya, Instructor (Bangla) were present as judges in the competition.

Mr. Biswajit Das, Craft Instructor, Mr. Biprajit Talukder, Craft Instructor, Mr. Jewel Ranjan Das, Craft Instructor, Mr. Md. Ayub Khan, Craft Instructor, Mr. Md. Rasul Amin, Instructor (Mathematics) and Mr. Kaushik Banikya spoke in the discussion meeting, among others. Instructor (Bangla). The speakers brought out the significance of the Great Independence and National Day among the students.

Giving prizes to the winning students in the cultural competition, in the speech of the president of the discussion meeting, the Head of the institution, Engineer A, S, M, Naeem called upon the students to build their lives inspired by the spirit of patriotism.

The day-long event concluded with Iftar and Doa Mahfil.
